Wisconsin, 1963, is one of Danny Lyons most iconic images from his legendary series The Bikeriders, The image is featured on the cover of the journal-size volume of original black-and-white photographs and transcribed interviews by Lyon, made from 1963 to 1967, when he was a member of the Outlaws gang. Authentic, personal, and uncompromising, Lyon’s depiction of individuals on the outskirts of society offers a gritty yet humane perspective that subverts more commercialized treatments of Americana. The seminal publication of photographs and interviews that documents the Chicago Outlaws Motorcycle Club in the 1960s, when Lyon was a member, is the inspiration behind the new film of the same title. This Signed Archival Pigment Print was available from Aperture as a time limited open edition*, in April 2024 to celebrate its premiere and the release of I’m Talking About My Life Here (2024), Lyon’s recent memoir,
